Mr Arthur Hammer is an experienced and committed Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in cornea and external eye disease. After gaining his medical degree from the University of Geneva in 2012 he then went on to complete a PhD in cornea and refractive surgery, and achieved the Swiss Speciality Diplomas in Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic surgery. He has since provided his services across multiple NHS Trusts as both an esteemed cornea and cataract fellow.
With vast experience, Mr Hammer is adept in a variety of advanced corneal, refractive and cataract procedures. He has won multiple prestigious awards within the industry and is consistently involved in medical research, with the aim of improving surgical techniques and patient outcomes.
Mr Hammer has authored numerous peer reviewed scientific publications and was an active reviewer for the prestigious European Journal of Ophthalmology. He has taken part in multiple advanced training courses and has presented his findings nationally and internationally at a multitude of prestigious medical conferences.
