Wheels4Life was chosen to help promote cycling as a mode of transport and a lifestyle change for a sustainable environment.
 
The Optical Express Group helped the three prepare themselves for the trip by providing laser eye surgery to correct their vision, which allowed them to travel freely without the need for glasses or contact lenses.
