The only way to clear vision after cataract.
Cataract surgery removes your damaged lens and replaces it with a hi-tech artificial lens to give you clear vision. This hi-tech lens can also correct long-sightedness, short-sightedness and reading vision. There are even toric lens options to treat astigmatism (an uneven curve of the eye).
The lens is called an intraocular lens and it works much the same as a contact lens. The intraocular lens is custom-fit to each eye and fixed in place, no need for cleaning and removal.
