IMAB
The International Medical Advisory Board (IMAB) consists of world-leading ophthalmic surgeons and opinion leaders.
Our founder, chairman and CEO, Professor David Moulsdale, established IMAB in 2005 and it has been chaired by Professor Steven Schallhorn – regarded as one of the most respected refractive surgeons in the world – since then.
This IMAB provides clinical governance oversight of our surgeons and wider clinician network. This facilitates continuous assessment and education to allow us to stay at the forefront of eye care, including vision correction surgery.
Our Group Clinical Services Director, Dr Stephen Hannan, is also a member of IMAB and ensures we offer the best possible service to all patients across Optical Express, ACES, sk:n and The Harley Medical Group (which all sit under the Lorena Group).
As a result of his extensive knowledge, research and participation in scientific publications over the years, he recently graduated with a PhD in Vision Sciences from Glasgow Caledonian University.
