The clinic is located within the southern side of Colchester's main shopping district on a pedestrianised thoroughfare close to the Lion Walk Shopping Centre. From all directions follow signs to town centre (A134). Eld Lane is easily accessible off Queens Street and St Botolph's Street to the east and Sir Isaac's Walk to the west. From the small square in front of Colchester Baptist Church, head along Eld Lane towards Queen Street. Montrose House is the first building on your left at the corner of Victoria Place. The clinic is on the upper floor, directly above Co-op Travel Money. The main entrance is in the side street to the right hand side of the building, just off Eld Lane.

Car Parking

There are many car parks in the surrounding areas which are clearly signposted. The nearest is Vineyard Street pay and display parking off Osbourne Street and St John's Street to the rear of the pedestrianised shopping area. From the car park, proceed up the stairs towards Eld Lane. Turn right onto Eld Lane and proceed past the church towards Queen Street. Optical Express will be on the left hand side as above.

Public Transport

Train: Colchester train station is a 10 minute walk from the clinic. When you exit the station at St. Botolph's Circus roundabout, turn right and head up St. Botolph's Street, which then becomes Queen Street, keeping to the left. Turn left at "Sweet News" on to Short Wyre Street and 100 yards ahead it becomes the pedestrianised Eld Lane, where the clinic is located on the right hand side.

Bus: The bus station is a 5 minute walk from the clinic. When you exit the bus station on Queen Street, turn left and head down the hill. At the first set of traffic lights ahead, cross the road and the entrance to Short Wyre Street will be in front of you, with "Sweet News" on the corner. After 100 yards, the street becomes the pedestrianised Eld Lane, where the clinic is located on the right hand side.
