Nina wore glasses and contact lenses since she was 12 years old, but decided to opt for laser eye surgery while on a holiday to Cyprus. Frustrated with not being able to spend much time in the pool with her kids, and struggling with wearing her glasses while sunbathing, she realised that poor vision was having too big an impact on her life.

“It impacts quite a lot, especially when I go to spas and things like that, I can’t wear contact lenses because my eyes get really dry from the sauna. Just the inconvenience of having to put them in every morning, take them out at night, it was a bit of a nuisance to be honest.”

Having achieved better than 20|20 vision, Nina was delighted to find that she can now see fine details that she wasn’t able to see when wearing her contact lenses or glasses, referring to it as a miracle. Over the moon with her results, she is excited to start experiencing life with her new-found visual freedom: “Just waking up in the morning and being able to see everything without the hassle of putting glasses or contact lenses in. Everything is just perfect.”

I’ve got a new pair of eyes and I can see. So yes, I would definitely recommend it. I feel absolutely amazing, being able to see is just probably the best thing you could ever do.”
