Covid-19 Update – bookings for consultations and surgery are now being taken

At Optical Express our first priority is the safety of our patients and employees.

We are continuing to closely follow advice from the UK government, public health bodies and regulators in relation to Coronavirus.

Based on the latest government advice we are pleased to confirm that we are now undertaking preoperative in-clinic consultations and vision correction surgery. Please click here to book a consultation online. For patients awaiting a date for vision correction surgery that was previously postponed, one of our team will be in touch directly very soon.

Across the UK we continue to provide essential or emergency clinical care for any member of the general public, either via telephone or video consultation, or an in-clinic assessment. This includes urgent clinical advice or intervention related to a range of conditions such as red eye, contact lens discomfort, foreign object, sudden change in vision, flashes and floaters, or where a delay in an examination may be detrimental to a patient’s sight or wellbeing.  A wider range of eye care services are now available for patients in England in line with government guidance. We have further enhanced our robust protocols and procedures and will be following strict hygiene and safety guidelines. We have a number of measures in place to ensure our patients and our employees are safe in our clinics at all times, including social distancing and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). On this basis, our experienced clinical teams are ready to welcome patients and assist you on taking the next step of your life-changing eye surgery journey.

Certain Head Office functions which are based in Scotland, UK continue to provide a reduced service and are unable to provide normal service at this time. These functions will resume as soon as it is possible and safe to do so.

If your query relates to contact lens or spectacle orders, including orders paid for via direct debit, please email customerservices@opticalexpress.com including your full name and date of birth. Contact Lenses can be ordered from our website and spectacle orders are being taken for prompt home delivery.
