Mr. Taha Ahmed is a highly experienced and accomplished Consultant Ophthalmologist with over a decade of specialist expertise in refractive lens replacement, cataract surgery, cornea surgery, femto-LASIK and general ophthalmology.

Renowned for his precision and dedication to patient care, Mr. Ahmed has performed more than 3,000 cataract procedures and over 1000 cornea and refractive procedures solidifying his reputation as a leading expert in this field.

Further to his broad surgical and clinical expertise, Mr. Ahmed has excellent communication skills with a personal customised approach to every patient.

With 11 years of combined basic and higher Ophthalmic surgical training, and a subspecialty Corneal and refractive fellowship in Southampton, Mr. Ahmed has built a robust foundation of surgical, clinical and academic excellence.

In 2012, Mr. Ahmed became a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, London, and was added to the GMC specialist register, recognition of his commitment to the highest standards of UK ophthalmic practice. Since 2014, he has accrued 11 years of consultantlevel experience, working in NHS hospitals in Cornwall and Cheshire before establishing a busy, modern cornea, cataract and refractive surgery practice at a leading healthcare institution on the west coast of Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Ahmed is an active contributor to ophthalmic research. Notably, his work has been published in many peer reviewed journals including esteemed Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and Eye, underscoring his ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence in the field.
