Sobia is a highly skilled Optometrist with over 27 years of clinical experience. She graduated from the University of Bradford in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Optometry. To further enhance her clinical expertise, she obtained a Diploma in Independent Prescribing, enabling her to diagnose and manage a wide range of ocular conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments.
In addition to her extensive clinical experience, Sobia is actively involved in supervising undergraduate optometry students, supporting their development and helping to inspire the next generation of practitioners.
Sobia has also expanded her skill set to include refractive eye surgery,
allowing her to provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing laser eye surgery and natural lens replacement procedures. She is experienced in managing MECS, OHTMS and cataract referrals, ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate care.
