Rose graduated with First Class Honours in Optometry from Glasgow
Caledonian University in 2019. During her final year, she travelled to South Africa to broaden her clinical experience, working on the Phelophepa Health Train, a mobile healthcare initiative delivering essential services to underserved communities. There, she provided eye care to patients with limited access to treatment, an experience that deepened her commitment to patient-centred care and reinforced her passion for making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Rose is a member of the College of Optometrists, a respected professional body that supports ongoing clinical development and upholds the highest standards of practice. Through this membership, she has access to continual professional guidance, education and evidence based resources, enabling her to stay at the forefront of advancements in optometry. This reflects her strong commitment to lifelong learning and ensures she consistently delivers safe, effective and high-quality care to her patients.
She further developed her clinical expertise within an independent
practice, primarily delivering NHS care, which provided her with a robust and well-rounded clinical foundation. During this time, Rose demonstrated excellent clinical ability and was recognised as a top-performing optometrist within her clinic.
Since joining Optical Express, Rose has continued to perform at
a consistently high level, delivering outstanding patient care and
contributing positively to the wider clinical team. She is a dependable and dedicated professional, known for her sound clinical judgement, attention to detail and commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for every patient she treats.
