Qais is a skilled and adaptable optometrist with extensive experience in both primary care and refractive surgery environments. Since graduating from Anglia Ruskin University with a Bachelor’s degree in Optometry in 2018, he has worked in various primary eye care settings across the UK, developing excellent clinical knowledge and a strong practical skillset.
Qais joined Optical Express in 2024 and delivers a comprehensive range of clinical services. He is qualified to instil ophthalmic medications and is confident in the assessment and management of post-operative patients, including recognising and responding to potential complications. Qais conducts detailed refractive and lens replacement consultations, ensuring patients receive thorough, accurate assessments and clear guidance throughout their treatment journey. He consistently demonstrates a high standard of clinical care across all aspects of his role.
Qais continues to dedicate himself to professional development; he is
YAG capsulotomy trained and is currently undertaking an independent
prescribing clinical placement. His commitment to expanding his knowledge and skills reflects his passion for delivering the highest
standard of patient care.
