Nektare completed her Optometry degree in Manchester, graduating in 2021. She has continued to advance her clinical expertise through further study at City, University of London, where she achieved a Professional Certificate in Medical Retina. She is currently working towards her Independent Prescribing qualification at Glasgow Caledonian University, demonstrating her commitment to ongoing professional development.
Alongside her academic achievements, Nektare has gained several years of experience working in an optical setting. Since joining Optical Express in 2024, she has been involved in a wide range of services, including refractive consultations, pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing laser eye surgery and lens procedures, as well as telemedicine clinics such as post-operative cataract care and virtual glaucoma assessments.
Nektare also plays an important role in supporting patients through their surgical journey, from initial assessment to aftercare, helping to ensure safe, effective and personalised treatment.
