Experienced optometrist Lynn has been working for Optical Express for 20 years, working in many different areas of the business and settling in the refractive surgery area the past 15 years in our state of the art clinic in Edinburgh Haymarket.
Graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2000, Lynn has a wealth of knowledge and has gone on to receive her qualification for Independent Prescribing in 2018, which enables her to manage many eye conditions at a community level without the need to refer patients to see an eye Doctor at the Hospital.
Another part of her role is to mentor up and coming optometrists as a pre-registration supervisor and works hard to ensure her optometrists get the best support and experience during their term.
Her day to day includes pre and post-surgery consultations and post-operative checks on surgery patients. Lynn enjoys working in the surgery centre dealing with pre and post op patients on their journey with us.
