Ms Farjana Begum is a highly skilled Optometrist with over 10 years industry experience. Utilising her advanced skill-set and extensive knowledge Farjana provides patients with outstanding levels of care, diagnosing and offering treatment plans for a range of eye diseases.
Currently based at our state of the art treatment clinic in Cambridge, Farjana follows best clinical practices to assess patients’ suitability for vision correction surgery procedures and performs post-surgery assessments for those who have undergone treatment. Due to her extensive knowledge, Farjana also assists our Ophthalmic Surgeons in complex cases. Ms Begum has a specialist interest in Glaucoma, and works to treat, diagnose and manage patients with this eye disease whilst consistently remaining up to date with the latest scientific research on the topic.
Continuously looking for ways in which she can improve her clinical expertise, Farjana undertook the Independent Prescribing qualification. Now being an IP qualified optometrist, she is able to manage a wider range of eye conditions without the need for referral to secondary care.
