An experienced ophthalmic surgeon, Dimitri Kazakoz has a keen interest in corrective eye surgery. He has additional training and is on the Specialist Register in Ophthalmology of the General Medical Council (GMC).

Graduating from the Marmara University of Istanbul, his first ophthalmology post was at the Oxford Eye Hospital. He then practised at Queen’s Medical Centre, Essex County Hospital, Ipswich General Hospital, Bristol Eye Hospital and Southampton Eye Unit for a Fellowship in Corneal and External Eye Diseases. He then returned to his native Greece where he completed his higher surgical training and received a Refractive Fellowship in the University of Crete with Professor Pallikaris, a pioneer of LASIK.
