This is why we have launched Optical Express Refer a Friend. It’s our way of saying ‘thank you’ to our eye surgery patients who recommend Optical Express.
You can manage your own Refer a Friend account at My Optical Express where you can log on to refer someone via email, facebook and twitter – or if you prefer to give them a voucher by hand, you can print Refer a Friend vouchers whenever you need them.
REGISTER OR LOG ON AT MY OPTICAL EXPRESS
Visit opticalexpress.co.uk/myoe and register using your email address and date of birth. You will be asked to create a password which you will enter – together with your email address – each time you log in to My Optical Express.
You can print a voucher at any time before their consultation appointment. Simply click on the Refer a Friend tab on the menu bar at the top of your screen and select ‘Print Voucher’. You will also have the option to email the voucher directly to your friend.
You can refer them via email, facebook or twitter. Simply click on the Refer a Friend tab on the menu bar at the top of your screen and select your preferred option. Then follow the onscreen instructions and a unique URL link will be sent to your friend using your chosen method.
Your friend must click your unique link and follow the onscreen instructions to book their initial consultation. Once the consultation booking is complete, a Refer a Friend voucher will appear onscreen. The voucher must then be printed and brought along to their initial consultation.
Your friend must present their Refer a Friend voucher at the time of their initial consultation.
IMPORTANT: A Refer a Friend reward cannot be claimed retrospectively for a friend who has already attended a consultation.

* Terms and Conditions
1. Only an Optical Express patient (the referrer) who has paid for and completed their own treatment is eligible to refer a friend or family member.
2. A Refer a Friend voucher must be presented at time of the new patient’s (the referred) initial consultation to claim a reward for the referrer.
3. The Refer a Friend reward may not be claimed against the referral of a new patient who has been referred to Optical Express by their private health care partner (Aviva, Bupa, etc.).
4. The Refer a Friend reward may be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion.
5. A reward cannot be claimed retrospectively for a friend or family member who has already attended a consultation.
6. Each voucher can only be used once.
7. The Refer a Friend reward is only payable once the referred patient has paid for and completed their treatment with Optical Express.
8. The £100 reward will be issued by cheque; cheques will only be made payable to the referrer.
9. We aim to dispatch reward cheques within 90 days from the date of when the referred completes their treatment.
10. Refer a Friend is not open to employees of Optical Express or their immediate family.
