About Sandro Di Simplicio
Mr Sandro Di Simplicio is an accomplished Consultant Eye Surgeon who is experienced in lens replacement and cataract surgery as well as LASIK and LASEK laser eye surgery procedures.
He is a fully qualified and registered ophthalmologist who gained his medical degree at the University of Siena before qualifying as an ophthalmologist at the University "Vita-Salute San Raffaele" in Milan.
Mr Di Simplicio has also attended many ophthalmological training courses which have enabled him to continue to develop his skills.
After moving to the UK, Mr Di Simplicio finished his sub-speciality training as a vitreorentinal surgeon. During his career he has gained a wealth of experience in hospitals such as King's College in London, University Hospital Southampton and the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. He has completed two fellowships in Southampton and Bristol.
Throughout his career, Mr Di Simplicio has helped thousands of patients to discover the freedom that refractive surgery brings.
