Optical Express invests over £300,000 in Kilmarnock stores

Optical Express has refurbished its two Kilmarnock stores. This significant investment is part of a nationwide refurbishment programme to ensure all Optical Express stores benefit from the very latest technology and exceed customer expectations. 

Locally, the store refurbishments mark a continuation of Optical Express’ fifteen year long presence in Kilmarnock and highlight the company’s ongoing commitment to its 20,000 local customers and wider community.

The new look Optical Express stores on King Street and St Marnock Street will benefit from full internal refurbishment and a much improved retail range, including designer glasses, featuring over a 1,000 frames from brands including: Gucci, Oakley, Prada, Hugo Boss, Patrick Cox, Armani, Vivienne Westwood and Versace.

Janice Cole has been a store manager at Optical Express for thirteen years, she explained:

“To be able to make this investment when other local businesses have had to close or pull out of the area is enormously exciting, we are investing heavily in Kilmarnock and are confident that our efforts will go some way in helping to revitalise the town centre and give our customers two refreshing new stores to visit.”
