I had laser surgery at Optical Express in Dublin and I truly cannot believe the difference it has made to me.

I had always worn contact lenses and to now be able to live my life without the hassle of putting them in and out each day is fantastic. I also find that my eyes no longer get tired in the evenings as they used to with the lens after a long day. I had heard from people who had had the surgery that there was no discomfort but as one would expect with surgery I was still a bit apprehensive before the procedure. The surgery itself was a walk in the park.

The whole thing took between ten and fifteen minutes with no pain whatsoever. The staff in the clinic were exceptional, going through every stage of the procedure in absolute detail and explaining it to me in easy terms. The aftercare service I’ve received since the surgery has also been incredible leaving me happy and full of confidence, my only regret is that I didn’t have it done years ago. I now work in TV as a rugby analyst and commentator so for me to have perfect vision is very important.

The day after the operation I was able to read the chart two lines below 20:20 and my sight is much clearer than it ever was with my glasses or contact lens. I can’t recommend this procedure highly enough to anyone who is thinking of having it done.
