How it works
If you have had refractive surgery - either IOL or laser eye surgery - with Optical Express, then we are delighted to invite you to be a part of the Ambassador Referral Programme. As a member of the programme, you can earn hundreds of pounds for every person you refer to have laser eye surgery or intraocular lens treatment at Optical Express. There's no limit to the number of people you can refer, so there's no limit to how much you can earn.
Or, if you would like to share your reward we can arrange that too. Every time you refer someone you will select one of the following options:
- You receive a cheque
- The person you refer receives money off the cost of their laser eye treatment
- You split it - you receive a cheque and the person you refer receives money off the cost of their treatment.

Step by Step Guide

Following your laser eye surgery or intraocular lens treatment, you will receive your Ambassador Referral Programme pack in the mail, including your first set of vouchers. If you have had surgery with us and have not received an Ambassador Referral Pack, please call 08000 280 530 to request a welcome pack and set of vouchers.

Distribute the vouchers to people whose lives would be transformed by having laser eye surgery or intraocular lens treatment with Optical Express.

Complete each voucher once you've decided how you would like your reward to be distributed:
A. You receive a cheque
B. The person you refer (referee) receives money off the cost of treatment
C. You split it - you receive a cheque and the referee receives money off the cost of their treatment -
The referee calls 08000 280 530 to arrange their free consultation at one of our clinics and quotes the reference number of their voucher.

Referee attends their free consultation and presents their Ambassador Referral Reward voucher.

If found suitable for treatment, the referee books treatment and either pays in full or takes up a finance agreement.

The referee has bilateral treatment carried out.

If you have chosen option B or C, the referee will receive the relevant discount off the cost of their treatment.

If you have chosen option A or C, a cheque for the relevant amount will be posted to you within 28 days of the referee having treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the vouchers be used in conjunction with other offers or discounts?
No, the vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. That being said, the amount that you can earn back with our Ambassador Referral Programme is unlimited, so you have the opportunity to earn back the cost of your treatment, and more.
My friend has lost their voucher. Is there any way to redeem it without the physical voucher?
Unfortunately, the physical voucher must be present in order for it to be redeemed. If your friend has lost theirs, then you can give them another.
How soon can I expect to receive my reward?
You'll receive a cheque in the mail within 28 days of when your friend has bilateral treatment and either pays in full or takes out a finance agreement.
How will I know if my friend has used their voucher and gone through with treatment?
We will send you an email when your friend presents your voucher at their consultation, as well as inform you when they go through with surgery.

Terms & Conditions- An Ambassador Referral reward or discount cannot be redeemed/claimed in conjunction with any other offer or discount.
- The Ambassador Referral Programme is not open to employees of Optical Express or their friends and family.
- Each voucher can only be redeemed once.
- Voucher must be presented at time of consultation.
- Bilateral treatment must be booked within 6 weeks of voucher issue.
- Bilateral treatment must be carried out within 8 weeks of voucher issue.
- Cheques will only be made out to Referrer.
- Cheques will be issued within 28 days of referee undergoing treatment.
- Cheques will only be issued once referee has paid for treatment in full or taken out a finance agreement.
