Monofocal lenses
Monofocal lenses correct your vision for one particular distance. They are commonly used within the NHS for cataract procedures and are easy for your eye to adapt to. Reading glasses may be required to supplement these lenses if you are over the age of 45, unless a monovision procedure is carried out. Your optometrist and surgeon will discuss this with you in more detail at your consultation.
