Victoria graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 1994 with a First Class Honours degree and registered with the General Optical Council in August 1995.
Working in the optometry sector for nearly 30 years, Victoria brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role as an optometrist at Optical Express.
Joining the team in 2000, Victoria primarily dealt with sight tests and contact lens exams, before expanding her knowledge in the refractive surgery pathway. Two days are never the same for Victoria, who now provides pre and post-surgery assessments to her patients.
In 2019, Victoria qualified in Independent Prescribing which enables her to manage many eye conditions at a community level without the need to refer patients to see an eye Doctor at Hospital.
Victoria is currently a Clinical Services Optometrist in which she navigates an array of complex cases. In this role Victoria is on hand to offer guidance and advice to our Optometrists and Ophthalmologists throughout the UK and Ireland, and works to ensure best clinical practices are followed at all times.
