As a highly proficient Optometrist with over 10 years of experience,Gulfam brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Optical Express. With a BSc (Hons) in Optometry from Aston University in 2012, he began and continued a career rooted in excellent patient care.
Gulfam utilises his advanced skill set, clinical knowledge and outstanding customer care to diagnose and offer treatment plans for a range of eye diseases, as well as assess patients’ suitability for refractive procedures and perform post-surgery assessments for those who have undergone vision correction surgery.
He has taken an active leadership role in mentoring new optometrists within the business and has undertaken a wide range of clinical training programs to further strengthen his knowledge - including achieving a qualification in Independent Prescribing.
Gulfam finds the most rewarding part of his work is ‘to assist patients achieve freedom from visual aid, improve vision and the health of their eyes to enhance the quality of their lives.
