After graduating in Optometry from Ulster University in 2001, Dean has enjoyed a thriving career over the last 20 years, expanding his clinical knowledge and expertise and providing patients with outstanding levels of clinical care.
Working as part of the Optical Express team since 2002, Dean’s responsibilities include assessing patient’s pre and post-surgery as well as checking their suitability for refractive procedures. Dean has also been a key asset within our Surgery Support Teams since 2017, where he assists our Ophthalmic Surgeons by preparing patients for laser eye, cataract and lens replacement surgery procedures.
Over the years, Dean has gained a renowned reputation as a highly experienced optometrist. Diagnosing, providing treatment plans and researching a full range of eye diseases has allowed Dean to have a primary focus on clinical procedures and successful patient outcomes.
His clinical knowledge and practice experience includes managing and providing treatment plans for a range of eye conditions and diseases, as well as performing YAG Capsulotomy procedures.
