Aung has been contributing to the world of Optometry for almost 14 years after graduating from Bradford University (BSc) in 2010.
As a highly driven and ambitious professional Aung has sought continuous development throughout his career – he is in the process of gaining his qualification in Independent Prescribing and takes an active interest in the mentorship of up-and-coming optometrists through his work in the clinical services team.
As a key member of the surgery support teams since 2016, he assists ophthalmic surgeons by preparing patients for laser eye, cataract and lens replacement surgery procedures. Diagnosing, researching and delivering treatment plans for optical wellbeing has allowed Aung to have a primary focus on clinical procedures and successful patient outcomes.
