Akramul is an Optometry (BSc) graduate of City, University of London committed to upholding lifelong vision wellness. He began his career with Optical Express pre-registration program, developing and honing his skills as an Optometrist, then later specialising in refractive surgery.
With responsibilities that include assessing patients pre and post-surgery as well as checking their suitability for refractive procedures, Akramul stays at the forefront of advancing ophthalmic technology.
As a qualified Independent Prescriber, he can manage and diagnose many eye conditions at a community level without the need to refer patients to hospital.
Using his knowledge to contribute to upcoming Optometrists is a priority for Akramul, he guides colleagues throughout the pre-registration andrefractive training process – ensuring comprehensive clinical standards are upheld.
Akramul had completed his training in YAG Laser Capsulotomy and can confidently carry out YAG Capsulotomy procedures.
